The Ocean In A Drop

“You are not a drop in the ocean.
You are the entire ocean, in a drop.”

– Rumi

What does it mean when the drop becomes the ocean?

The “drop” represents the small sense of who we think we are – our thoughts, worries, identity, and the feeling of being separate.

The “ocean” represents a deeper reality within us – peace, joy, and a connection to something much greater.

When we go beyond constant thinking and come into a state of inner stillness, we begin to experience that we are not limited to this small identity. In Sahaja Yoga, this happens naturally when the Kundalini rises and our attention moves inward.

In that experience, the “drop” does not disappear – it expands.
You begin to feel connected, more balanced, and less caught in comparison, fear, or the need to prove anything.

What remains is a simple, genuine quality: a good and open heart.

If you would like to experience this for yourself, you are warmly invited to join our free meditation classes—no belief needed, just a willingness to try and see what you feel.
